Michael's Chinese - Stepney

Table service was nice, quiet and clean. Delicious beef curry with rice, portion size is good. Hors D’oeuves (starter) was tasty but ribs a bit stingy on the meat.

Ordered chicken curry - rice - chips - the curry sauce was gorgeous as was the rice & chips BUT the chicken was really dry and the dish would probably also benefit from some chunks of mushroom. Maybe a bad day in the kitchen - will try something different next time. 👍 I’ll be back.

Waste of money, food was bland and had no taste really, really disappointed as I was expecting some authentic flavours. The satay chicken and the shredded beef were ok. Not ordering from there again.

This place deserves a minus 0, spent 50 pounds on a mixture of dishes and starters every single item was a let down, all the mains had this black sauce poured all over which tasted of nothing, as soon as I saw bengalis I k ew something not gonna be wrong with the food, what a waste of money god I'm soo angry 😡 please don't waste your money giving you a massive heads up!

Utterly disappointing. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The food wasn’t great and quite frankly, bland. Save your money.

I threw most of the order away as it was some of the worst Chinese food I'd ever tasted. It wasn't even really identifiable as Chinese food. The egg fried rice was brown and tasted of nothing but soy sauce. The Singapore noodles had no curry flavor or spice. The deep fried chili chicken was a gloopy, soggy mess.

As it’s a local place, gave this place numerous chances, each time it didn’t get any better.

Non-Chinese cook, so maybe should have expected a low standard.

Various chow means and different fried rices were ordered, all of them bland and no flavour. No resemblance to Chinese food. Not sure if the staff have ever tasted Chinese food before or just guessing what it should be like by the name of the dish.

Ordered the special chow mein noodles, it had uncooked hard noodles through out the food, my 5 year old was eating and spitting it out as she was trying to eat, this is a choking hazard. Also sweet and sour soup tasted completely off to the point it was not consumable. Tried to contact the company directly, they were extremely rude, i was greeted with the worst customer service I have experienced.
