Golden Bowl

Had a takeaway for 7 people on Sunday night, I phoned the order through, I asked how long before I can pick it up, she replied, 10 minutes. The 7 meals was ready when I arrived which was less than 10 minutes. The chips was cold and hard, obviously they were cooked the night before, the meal wasn't up to much either. As a result I won't be going there again

Lots of choice on this street and this is our go to place for Chinese. They accept cash only but there is a cash point just up the hill by asda. They offer a good choice of dishes and are one of the few choices in the street with a 4 or 5 put of 5 hygiene rating. Which is good compared to a 2/5 on the street. There is parking outside on the main street if you need to drive in an pop in to collect but please avoid parking on double yellow lines down side streets.

When i ordered the Thai Chow Mein, i was told it would be a short wait, but took over AN HOUR AND A HALF to get to my house only 10 minutes away, i opened it and i was surprised to see Foo Yung, this wasnt my order and i was disappointed with the cold food and bad attitudes when i called back.
VERY disappointing.
Other alternatives in the local area are FAR better!!!

Absolutely shocking ! Food was terrible curry wasn't even in the box it was underneath because there was a hole in the bottom, chips tasted like they were cooked 7 days ago and microwaved! Just shocking

Food was amazing ,it was cheap and has spent only 34 pounds for different kinds of dishes including cool cokes. Really quick delivery and we all enjoyed the food. Highly recommend the golden bowl for good evening.

Awful Made me and my family seriously ill!!

Probably now my favourite Chinese takeaway in Bridgend.
Excellent crispy beef, all of the dishes have plenty of flavour and some actual have spice unlike a lot of the oversweet dishes served elsewhere.
