What a superb delight and delicious meal. All food is prepared fresh and to your liking so you can make suggestions or wishes. I would personally say that the Chinese belongs to one of the best I have had in a while and the lady is friendly and welcoming. It's located in a little side street off the high street and offers seating inside as well as outside. If you are looking for a nice dinner or lunch or even breakfast then go here. You can get a full English as well as a nice Chinese menu with a good selection of tasty dishes.

Nice little Chinese / cafe. Decent chilli oil, nice noodles with a good bite to them. Good flavour, not too salty.

Prices are reasonable.

Fry ups look good too, a few other customers were eating them and must say they looked tasty.

Hands down worst Chinese meal I’ve ever had. Egg fried rice had no flavour at all, weird texture. Lemon chicken had a very odd flavour, VERY chemically and not nice at all. Threw it away after a few bites trying to mix it up and balance the flavour.
Also packaged very awkwardly so had spilled everywhere in the bag. Also worth noting the lemon sauce was luminous and has stained my worktop and jeans.
Was stood for close to ten minutes waiting for the staff even though door was open and radio was on. Got no apology, no smile, no welcoming attitude just pure rudeness. Though she did admit she was outside smoking. Cool.
Only went because I fancied a Chinese and nothing else was open. Never again.

Really enjoyable meal - beautifully cooked and delicious.
This Chinese restaurant is a refreshing change serving such freshly prepared, flavourful and "zingy" dishes (as well as the usual favourites).
We will definitely be ordering from the Happy Panda again (and soon I hope !)

Words can't not express how I feel about this Chinese, the place looked lovely and clean really friendly guy. However the food we paid £25 we had 1 bite and wouldn't even feel it to your dog we had vermicelli noodles which were clear (these looked like baby corn) staty chicken was rock solid, spicy seasme chicken u cudnt even break on a table and the spare ribs by far the weirdest sauce I've ever tasted, was so disappointed with loosing £25 then had to go and order pizza... such a shame...

My boyfriend and I sat in here on a Saturday night to try somewhere new in Monmouth. We had a lovely experience !! We had the all you can eat cuisine. The restaurant owners were really friendly and attentive. The food was so tasty and really big portions. It was my first vegetarian Chinese and my boyfriend eats meat and really enjoyed his food too. I loved my sweet and sour vegetables it had such amazing flavours. We will definitely be coming back for food here and we had a lovely experience. Thank you!

Excellent North Chinese style cooking, open kitchen.
Owner run, serving English food in the day, Chinese food at night, not standard takeaway style, lots of flavoursome fresh vegetables and house made sauces.
Excellent dumplings, kimchi pancake and Singapore noodles, everything freshly made to order.
Really friendly owners.
