I love the way the restaurant sets is menu out, first class sit down restaurant with buffet menu and top class food. A favourite choice.

FOOD POISONING! RAW CHICKEN!

After seeing some great reviews, I thought I’d give this place a try. I’ve never been as disgusted as I was today… you can’t trust these 4/5 star reviews on here! Stay away…

I ordered the starter platter and the satay chicken arrived pink, to which I reasonably asked for it to be taken back and a new one made. They came back & they told me that’s how it gets cooked and they can only remake it like that and it’s normal.

I then said it was not ok and we were not happy to pay for this, we would like to leave and pay for our drinks only. They came back and then still tried to charge us for the starters and only knock £2 off the bill ( despite the chicken being next to the other foods and possibly contaminating the food we had had next to it) I then had to tell them again we are not paying for this. I had to reason with them that the food was not fit for food safety standards!I’ve had a bad stomach since!

In the end we left after just paying for the drinks, absolutely disgusting. I hate to leave bad reviews,
but this is just a violation of food safety- spare yourself the bad gut! 🤢🤮
I recommend ‘Pando’, it’s on marketplace ST, it’s a 5 minute walk away.

We decided to chose china diner for our traditional holiday Chinese meal after reading the reviews. The food was tasty but really nothing above what your usual Chinese take-a-way would provide. The setting was the strangest thing. It didn’t feel like you were in a Chinese restaurant, more like a posh Sunday dinner environment. Don’t get me wrong the place was clean, well presented and the staff were friendly but when your used to all the Chinese decorations such as patterns and pictures of Mount Fuji everywhere and there’s none of that it just felt strange.

Would be harsh to leave a lower star rating as nobody forced us to go there and we all enjoyed our food.

Lovely food! It was very easy to order online and was delivered to our lodge on the cherry tree holiday park. A bit more pricey than back home but definitely worth it!

Really good food for Great Yarmouth.

A last minute booking for 7, The food was amazing, we ordered additional dishes from the menu, we were advised by our server this was not necessary as we had ordered the set menu, to be honest I think you were right, so much food, just a picky eater in our party.

My wife and I looked through many reviews of the local chinese restaurants in the great Yarmouth area and the "china Diner" had lots of wonderful reviews, so we decided to eat there.
We are so very pleased we did as the staff were extremely polite and friendly, the restaurant was very clean and a lovely place to spend some time in. The food arrived quickly and was excellent! Plenty of flavour and cooked perfectly. We 100% reccomend you eat here if you get the chance. We will definitely be returning whenever we can to enjoy the experience again and again.

One of the best Chinese I've had in a long time . Great food great service and lovely clean eating environment.
