Golden House | Chinese Takeaway

Delicious food. Delivered on time and hot.
Read reviews and bad ones were over a year ago so thought I'd give it a try. Just moved to the area so I was looking for a new chinese takeaway. I wasn't disappointed and will use them again. Thanks S :-)

Ordered online, first time I had used them. i got told 45 minutes delivery. 1.5 hours later still not arrived. Rang up girl who was so rude, actually said ‘oh my god’ when I said I was unhappy, the food would be cold and then put the phone down on me. Wouldn’t offer a discount. Rude, dreadful service. Wish I had have looked at the other reviews in advance. Will be returning to my other chinese ..and then promptly continued to call me.

Absolutely lovely food, just got egg fried rice, curry sauce and shredded salt and pepper chicken. Would deffo order again 😀

There was one rude girl but i think she’s gone now (or is rarely there). To be fair, she used to be on her own dealing with counter and phone and was clearly frustrated but still not good customer service on the phone. She was fine in person though.

We did stop going years ago but then things improved two owners ago and since the latest incarnation, it’s improved 1000%.

It’s now one of the best Chinese in the whole of the Chorley area and I’ve tried most of them!

Usually happy with this place. But ordered my food a 6 10 pm was told would be ready at 7 pm. Waited and waited. Rang up at 8 pm and was told driver had losty ticket and would be another 20 mins. I usually order quite a lot from these and have never had a problem. But I wasn't even given a apology or was offered a discount. Reay. Not happy. Hubby had to go and get one from elsewhere.

Not good service meal never turned up the shop didn't seem to be that bothered so went to another Chinese takeaway which was bothered about there customers

Great food but we live within 3 miles and we're charged over 3 miles, as you order the price goes up £7.20 meal comes up as £9.20 like I said great food but if I want my pants taking down I'll do it myself
