Sam's Chinese Take Away

Where to I start. First I was told delivery would be 30-40mins but it took an hour and a half. When I called on two occasions to chase up delivery the gentleman was rude and not sorry for the delay. Having spent £60 I was appalled by the mans behaviour.

Now for the food! They forgot to put the sweet and sour sauce in the box. I ordered a mixture of prawn and chicken balls, with only two prawns in the bag. The duck was not shredded so I had to do this by hand and the hoisin sauce was to salty to use. The chips seemed to have been cooked twice and was awful so I could not eat them. The dim sum was disgusting!!! The chicken curry, chicken chow mien and beef in black bean sauce was tasty.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend or use again.

Usually food is amazing from this place. I ordered the special fried rice which is meant to include shrimp. This is what they classed as shrimp.

So disappointed as I always order from here and usually so good. Also prices have gone up way too much. Won't be ordering from here as often due to how expensive it's gotten.

Called to order food from this place, the man whom was taking the ordering spoke to me with a racist undertone as I have an accent, and as I’m a much grown woman didn’t appreciate how I was spoken to so after placing the order, I’d immediately called back and cancelled! My 26 year old daughter had said before he’s very RUDE but thought give a 2nd chance he blew it! The food we ordered before wasn’t all that either but yes extremely RUDE and no one should eat from any place where they’re so bloody rude! Think about what they could do with the food!!!

The prices this guy charges are absurd. He wants a fiver for a rice 😂😂😂 food is fairly good but increasingly the meals contain less and less meat. Robbery tbh.

Am now on hour two of waiting for our food delivery through just eat. Have called them and been told it’s very busy and they are tired so don’t know when we will receive our order. They have refused us any money back for being so late through just eat. So do not recommend…

We had a delicious takeaway last night from Sam's. Everything nicely cooked and one of the best l have had. Very nice that it is local

Ordered 1st time today. Lady on the phone was great. Delivery was timely. Food was great. Can't fault them. Will be ordering again. Thanks.

Great takeaway. Thoroughly enjoyed the Kung Pao chicken, peking spare ribs and pork fried rice
