Honestly, the worst fish and chips I think I’ve ever had. Soggy overcooked over salted chips, thick soggy batter on a not so fresh, very thin piece of cod. Had to take the batter off the cod it was so bad.

The fish came out of the hot counter so wasn’t fresh, comparably with other places locally very small piece of fish and £8 which I thought was steep for what I ordered anyway.

A huge disappointment

Delivery was late, food cold, spare ribs dry and tasteless

Grease Soaked Chips and soggy Greasy sausage! They were not busy at all. The Quality of food both Fish and Chips and Chinese is very poor quality. Some do get good food but I guess it depends on who is cooking at the night, which makes it rather hit-and-miss. I certainly won't be ordering from here again.

Ordering from. Here for a while now and was always ok the Chinese end of it but last 3 times iv orderd the food hase been flavour less it actually tastes of nothing just warm and bland I will try it once more but if the same I won't be ordering there again.......need to read your reviews and pull it together

Chips savaloys and battered sausages all delivered piping hot and tasty

Ordered special rice, sent special noodles and sweet and sour sauce burst open. Replacement special rice was definitely far from special in any way. Sauce was flavourless. Like watery, savoury wallpaper paste. Battered chicken balls soggy and undercooked. Pancake rolls falling apart. Flavour of barbecue spare ribs was ok but texture was unpleasantly gluey. Complete waste of money. Not ordering from there again.

Good food and friendly staff.

Chicken balls use a similar batter to their cod so is pretty thick but has a good taste.

We have just ordered the Peking style (PJ) set meal for 4. What an amazing meal! Really fresh ingredients and lovely flavours. I personally feel the cost charged reflects the quality of the ingredients used. I would therefore highly recommend.
We will definitely be back there again the next time we visit Hemel Hempstead.
