Wok Star

Normally go to Sunshine a Chinese shop down the road but due to Covid-19 is was closed. Anyways after browsing Just-Eat I decided to try this place out as it had great reviews, although hygiene rating is only a 3 what’s the lowest I will eat from. Anyways I made an order for collection and collected within 20 minutes what was pretty quick.
I ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls, Beef Chow Mein and chicken friend rice.....
it was very fresh and full of taste and I do not have any complaints about this one. Happy to order from here again. Although it’s a shame about the mid hygiene score, hopefully they will improve this for the next inspection

This is by far the best Chinese in Dunstable. Fast delivery, Great fresh food with plenty of incorporated vegetables. Spring Rolls are Crispy and full of flavour aswell as the rest of the dishes we've had. Overall no complaints and an enjoyable meal every time. I honestly don't think you could be disappointed

Tonight we ordered food via just eat app. We had food missing replaced by food items we that we did not order. We called the resturant to be told these items would be sent out with their next driver and when asked said it would be 10 minutes. 40 minutes later and another phone call to the resturant our food finally arrives, and not very warm! Original food delivered wasn't of great standards either, only just warm and soggy! In regards to additional food that was with our order could have caused serious hazards to food allergies!!

Ordered in there website which was a bit buggy but got there in the end. Had to order collection as delivery was unavailable, not sure why. Some of the best Chinese I have had in a long while. Only complaint was the lack of salt and pepper on the salt and pepper chicken but that was it really.

Absolutely appalling! I ordered chicken balls and got prawn (which I’m allergic too) I mentioned my shellfish allergy via phone and message on app. When complained I was told there was nothing they could do even though I had food I couldn’t eat!

Do not order from wok star. They are a absolute SHAMBLES. I ordered food at 5.11pm and didn't receive it by 6.15pm, So I rang them and they told me the food was on its way. At 6.15pm I rang again to tell them my delivery.STILL has not arrived. The girl on the phone put the female manager ( I assume) who then spoke aggressively to me accusing the driver. To then say she will make my food again as the driver gave my food to someone else!!! I then asked, Well it's been over a hour and half! Could you as a good will gesture give me something And slam....The phone was cut off!!! Absolutely outrageous behaviour. I also heard the women and man arguing in the background.! Do NOT order from wok star! There duck is disgusting

Nice food , we order crab soup with Sweetcorn, and noodle, 5 minutes away was delivered in 54min.

Such a shame that this has happened. This take-away has always delivered tasty, value for money food. They still do! But their delivery driver was so rude, unhelpful and lazy! He refused to deliver the food to our door! It is Covid times. A lot of people are self-isolating. He refused point blank to bring the food to our doorstep. He insisted that a member of the family went outside and got the food while he stood near his nice warm car! Disgusting! May I add, we are not self isolating, but still terrible service.
