Far East Delight

Just ordered from this Chinese for my vegetarian girlfriend and her Auntie who is Vegan - Ordered a chicken chow mein for myself and two special szechaun sauces with tofu and vegetables for girlfriend and her auntie. Now on there website there was no indication that there was any meat included within these dishes...to my unpleasant surprise when they arrived they had chicken, beef duck and goodness knows what else in there....So not cool. So I called expecting that with the dishes untouched there could be a simple exchange the boxes unopened - no problem. Oh well did I get some responses from the seller in this instance - 'It's not my problem' 'You should of read dish properly' There was no clear indication on the website which stated there was meat included so as being a reasonably sharp chap I'm sure I would of noticed this. After a heated discussion with there manager they were still resolute with there stance on this - Not cool no refund no exchange just some horrific service. Not cool never ordering from here again.

Would rate 0 starts if I could. Went in to return chicken balls that were PINK in the middle, obviously not cooked properly and raw.
I spoke to a rude female member of staff who passed me over to the manager who was even ruder. He tried to tell me that the reason the chicken was pink was because it had been marinated, when it was quite clearly raw.

Worst Chinese I have ever had and probably the worst customer service too.

Would not recommend this place at all and will be reporting them to hygiene standards.

This was the worst Chinese I have every placed in my mouth. As soon as I tasted the awful texture I spat it out and I felt sorry for the floor. The chicken was not cooked and the battered balls were soggy. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy as even they deserve a chance to live. The ‘sweet and sour’ sauce tasted like something a cat would piss out after eating some rotting animal. Please improve for the sake of the general public.

The chicken curry was full of curry powder and part of our order was missing the food was cold and not ateable this place is over priced and the delivery was late. I wish that I cooked a dinner myself has its detryed my husbands birthday. I won't be back here again

Very unhappy with my experience, I ordered the duck in plumb sauce which was completely unappealing, more fat than duck. And the special fried rice looks and tasted like a dogs dinner! So upset that I have wasted my money🤢

My elderly parents choice for a takeaway. Reason: They can telephone through, place an order and it is delivered in a sensible timeframe and they can pay for it "on delivery" with cash. Not everyone has internet skills or want to use an "app"
The food is always fresh and tasty, on my recent stay we all enjoyed the meal from Far East Delight and believe me my mother is quick to complain if things are not right.

We come here regularly for our fish and chips and curry sauce and it is always very good quality , I ring them to place an order and go and collect it and it has been freshly cooked for me, my family are quite fussy but Far East Delight always seems to satisfy them, delicious crispy batter and good chips.

Good Chinese takeaway and chippy, well established, tasty food. Note there is a £15 minimum spend if paying by card, otherwise bring cash.
