Mei Wah

Absolutely the worst food we’ve ever had! Inedible. The king prawn kung Pao had three small prawns in it, it was so sweet it was sickening, with absolutely no peanuts in it. Sweeter than most desserts. Terrible. The egg fried rice had no eggs in it, it was just steamed rice with soy sauce in it. And grease. And the crabmeat and sweet corn soup was horrible. It tasted like canned corn with not one piece of crab in it. We absolutely could not even eat it, even though we were hungry. And we’re not picky. It tasted that bad. What a waste of money! We had to throw it all in the bin! They had no plastic spoons in the entire place to eat soup with, and no napkins. And, they only take cash?!?! It can’t get any worse than this place!

Their food is consistently fresh and tasty and the service is just as good, with orders usually delivered quickly. The beef chow mein, and salt and pepper chicken are my favourites. We place our orders by phone and pay by PayPal, although there is the option to pay cash.

We ordered for 5, food was amazing. Cooked really well. Im hard to please when it comes to chinese but it was lovely!!

Arrived for our wkd break at finlake after a long tiring journey we didn't fancy cooking so decided to get a Chinese take away that deliver.
Great that they delivered we ordered and had quarter duck, chicken balls and pork chow mein, crispy chiili beef.
It cost £36.50 we rang and ordered and said it will be up to an hour.
When it arrived they do come to your lodge which is great and was delivered within the hour which for a Friday night isn't too bad a wait.
When we plated up, the duck was a funny texture to what I have had before and very chewy felt like I was eating pork!
Not much plum sauce and not much cucumber which was tiny pieces.
Chicken balls there was only 7 small ones, the chicken was fine but the batter was very crunchy and tough!
Pork chow mein was edible but a bit dry and tasteless.
Well the dish which is my favourite was very disappointing the crispy chilli beef was not even crispy was chewy and not very nice.
Such a shame.

Really enjoyed this, great quality food! Very generous portions of the chicken inside too.
Service was fast and very polite, will eat from there again for sure.

Really good. Food arrived quickly, it was well cooked, piping hot and delicious. Very impressed.

Mei Wah have the nicest people working there and the food is amazing they deserve five stars all day long
