Maido House

Having tried a few in Cambridge this is our Chinese Takeaway of choice, and we're really pleased with it. We've tried lots of the dishes - they're great and good value too. The staff are friendly, and service is fast if it's not too busy. Would recommend the crispy chilli beef.

Easily the best Chinese takeout place in Cambridge!!

Small family run place that has been around for long time. Unlike many of its peers it's also super clean and feels/looks very hygienic.

Good been curd selection, friendly and clean. Food was very good, main dishes cheap, yet the sundries expensive. Enjoyed it, will go back again. Fresh tasting dishes and the king prawn with bean shoots was sublime.

Our go to Chinese Takeaway in Cambridge. Have tried others but we always go back to Maido. Great food and service. Just had a meal tonight and as usual it was delicious. So lucky to have this great takeaway on our doorstep. Highly recommended.

Having just been up the hospital I opted in for a take away rather than cooking at home. The food was ready within 5 minutes. I had chicken curry. The food was just okay, nothing spectacular and certainly not something I wouldnt have been able to cook myself. Chicken curry was almost as if it had been frozen before?? Simple thin slices of chicken, mushroom, onion and peas in curry (ish) sauce. Certainly did not have that curry kick. No napkins and no prawn crackers provided.. would have been nice. Overall I have had high Hopes but slightly disappointed. I don't think I will order again. Had the food been more pricey, I would have gone back for a refund . Confused as to why the reviews are good

I won’t get food from here again ,,shocking !!!!! ,,, I had a beef chow main and chips ,, the beef I wouldn’t give to a rat ,, every bit was soooo fatty and like rubber ,if you showed this to someone and asked them what meat that was ,I bet they’d never be able to tell you… 1 star for the chips.

Its a good solid Chinese takeaway, had a set menu so can't really say much other than it was good decent food.

Currently our go to Chinese in Cambridge! Amazing food, decent portions and average prices.
