The least amount of fish I’ve ever seen in a sushi roll! Absolute rip off. Tom Yum soup was flavourless, nothing like real Tom Yum. Mussels chewy and covered in huge garlic chunks and some weird sweet sauce. Spicy edamame covered in sweet chilli sauce. Really lazy below average food, we couldn’t eat most of it. Have eaten noodle dishes here before too which are just as bad. Such a shame as St Albans needs good sushi & Japanese.

What can I say! Great Food, great service and great atmosphere! Keep up the great work! Waiter named Jameel certainly knows how to keep customers happy. Highly recommended noodle bar to try out! My personal favourite, the prawn toast, with Noodles and Tiger prawns! Although everything I’ve tasted here is amazing, the prawn dishes are just my personal best!

I ordered while I was super hungry as everything else was pretty much close around my town. On the good side - you're hungry, you get sorted. On the bad side - if you are respecting your taste buds, stomach and so on...i wouldn't recommend it. By the way, I did not order just one dish - I had 4 stuff ordered so in case something went bad, I could have an alternative. But all failed. At least I am not hungry anymore. Will see tomorrow how I ll feel. :-P

In a conscious effort to support local independent businesses, I have tried takeaway from Kimaya 3 times. Each time has been a different dish and each time has been progressively worse. Any restaurant that has this many dishes of varying cuisines on their menu simply cannot make anything well. I should have expected this to be honest. My last dish (and last attempt to order from Kimaya) was so bad that it sadly went straight into the bin. The dish lacked any of the vegetables listed in the description on the menu and tasted worse than a jar of ready made sauce you can pick up from the supermarket, which is very disappointing.

My experience was really nice. The dining area is really tidy and clean. Food is delicious and the owner is really friendly and quick. I'll come back for sure.

No. This is not correct. the menu and photos give impression of Wagamama's style food and menu. What you actually get served and in absolute truth is a pile of chewy, old hard, dried out, flavourless basmati rice (not Japanese rice) likely cooked days ago, some carrots pre cooked that have been sitting in a tub for a week in a cold fridge gone all weird and old and spongy and dried out and ugly. A sauce that if you could go any less than the supermarket super saver cheapest oriental sauce maybe 20p go less than that...on what ever kind of meat or fish they serve. I recalled likely trying to cook food for the first time back in the 90's when i couldn't actually cook and was a student....or some back street cafe in the 80's... it's like that. This is not food anyone should pay for. You will enjoy your self more going to gregs and getting a sausage roll and a can of coke. (i'm really not kidding). You will not get served what is on the menu, it will not be the quality or look or taste they are representing on their menu, nothing is fresh, it does not taste nice, if you want a throw back to the 70's/80's and canned food on a plate....that is what you'll get. You'll get charged a restaurant price but you'll (and this is no embellishment) get served something a 10 year old tries to cook and call it oriental food but on a budget and has never ever cooked before. Go to tesco and have a meal deal you'll enjoy the experience more....that is how bad the food is...the food was the worst thing I have ever had in a paid establishment....ever....i don't want folks to waist their money - though go try it out for your self. perhaps when you go they have a budget and a chef. Good luck.

No staff apparently to give taste card discount. Pay full price because no staff.

Not sure how that makes any sense at all. AVOID!
