Wok Wonder

We placed a order for delivery at 8:30pm on Saturday night for £13:80 worth of food & being told 30-45mins for delivery. We were disappointed when the food arrived after an hour & was cold.
Not wanting to wait for food to be returned & replaced, we decided to heat the food in the microwave (not a good idea, turned a take-a-way into a microwave meal).
The following evening we dropped into the shop to explain the that we had had a cold meal & we wanted to give them feedback as we had been there before & were very happy with the quality of the food, we were met with attitude & excuses, & all but called liars.
We were polite, we didn't even ask for a refund & was just trying to be helpful in letting them know there had been a problem.
We will NOT be using them again ! which is a shame as we had used them several times before without a problem.

Absolutely shocked at the quality of the food let alone the service. The food was soaked in oil, the chicken dishes we had ordered couldn't be identified, the only thing they seemed to have got right was the egg fried rice. I called to see what could be done to rectify this but was met with a lot of abuse and cursing. I can honestly say I have never experienced anything like it! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Ordered £25 quids worth of food tonight.....never again...absolutly discusting, chicken dishes, no idea what it even was, i can only describe it as moshy, sloppy, slimey chicken. The Rice didn't even seem cooked it was hard and cold. The bbq Spare ribs were also like mosh. Totally discusting food. Never tasted anything so bad in all my life. Stay away if you ask me. Unless you want to waste your money and chuck your food in the bin 😡😡😡😡😡

Never ordered from here before due to its low hygiene rating last year but thought I would try it based on latest good reviews, Every thing we ordered was bang on tasty and hot except the curry sauce. The curry sauce needs to be changed because it is the weirdest I have ever tasted. Would have ordered again but that alone stops me in my tracks, Beef and mushrooms, Special fried rice chips and spring roll all bang on

Quality of the food was awful. This was my favourite Chinese restaurant. Both the ribs and pork where inedible. £25 wasted.

The first time I tried was unfortunately also the last. Lovely people but the food leaves something to be desired. Everything tasted the same (noodles, rice,prawns, ribs, chicken balls). The chicken ball batter was dark brown, really hard and seconds away from burnt. The sweet & sour sauce was dull looking and gloopy and tasted of vinegar. The ribs were dry and chewy. The prawns were ok but had no taste. As poor as the food was, I genuinely feel bad giving this review as the owners were lovely, but I have to be honest. Real shame.

Ordered my food at 6.45pm did not receive until 8.35 and I had to call the restaurant to chase them up .the food was very heavy on the salt so could not taste anything else. So sadly its a no from me and will definitely never go there again

The food was on par did order a can of pop but never received it but that was to make my order anyway. At least the lady driver had it that's cool. Just didn't come on time but only by 15 mins late and the food was right temperature the beef, porkribs and hot and spicy chow main with a bit of chicken, beef and prawns it melted in your mouth so I gave you 4 stars as it was late 😁
