Placed an order via Deliveroo and after 1 hour and 15 minutes (I live a 5 minute drive from the restaurant) it had still not arrived. I contacted Deliveroo, who phoned the restaurant and they said they couldn't fulfill the order. By this time it had gone midnight and all other restaurants were shut.

Think carefully before you place an order because there is a chance they will accept it but never deliver.

I am so disappointed with the service at lucky chan. We ordered our food at 6:15 to have it delivered, it was meant to arrive in around an hour. I received a text at 7:15 to tell me to come pick the food up. I replied by saying I had ordered delivery. He then said the driver was on his way. It had been two hours and we still hadn't received our food. The restaurant, which we called multiple times was being EXTREMELY unhelpful and making excuses, without actually telling us what is happening. he sent me the drivers number, because apparently he couldn't be bothered to call him himself, so we called (The driver was through Uber Eats, just to name and shame them as well) and he said he couldn't deliver to us because "Roehampton is too dangerous."
So basically we waited three hours for our food and never got it. I'm still waiting for the restaurant to confirm that they are refunding us, because they still haven't done that.

I ordered here last night and I'm ordering again tonight! The food is absolutely delicious! Believe me I've tried every Chinese takeaway in the area and this is by far the best one. I'm so glad I found this place

We found Lucky Chan Restaurant online and stopped by today to pick up some food. Although the restaurant is hidden away and little hard to find we were so pleased with the warmth we received. The food was prepared fast and it was delicious. We should have ordered more :) We were given a little first time discount and extra fortune cookie :) Honestly it was little things but goes to show that sometimes you don't need a big fancy restaurant, a smile and good customer service are 5 star treatment.

PLEASE AVOID if you can. I have got food poisoning here twice. I ordered the first time the chicken wasn’t cooked. I was throwing up all night. Then thought I just got a bad batch based off the reviews and ordered again. The egg fried rice was burnt have no egg no veg. The chicken again wasn’t cooked me and my son got food poisoning. Don’t wait your money or upset your stomach

Ordered today - order kept getting pushed back from 30 minutes to an hour 20 mins and then when I phoned to check where it was they said they had low drivers and I would have to phone someone else to cancel it. Awful customer service. Had been going here for last few months but they have become increasingly unreliable and this has been the final nail in the coffin for me. Would avoid, particularly for delivery as 50/50 whether food will turn up within 2 hours or even at all.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in the area. Food arrived incredibly quickly (around 20mins after ordering). I know that delivery times are often longer at busier times, unsurprising given the quality of the food Would highly recommend.
