Sweet and Sour Chicken was very tough, the sauce was Sour. Broccoli stir fry prawns was just drenched in a syrup sauce, way too sweet, Chicken Sweet Corn soup was ok, prawn crackers were acceptable. Other dishes were mediocre.

Really disappointed, my usual place was closed but really fancied a Chinese, wish I hadn’t ordered to be honest. Very expensive for small portions and tasteless food. Plum sauce, peanut sauce and sweet and sour all cold and so watery. The crispy shredded beef was so rubbery. I asked for no chilli but it came with chilli, couldn’t even finish eating one piece and it’s so expensive. Such a waste of money 😫

This is the second time I have been to the Paya Ewell and I can't recommend it enough. The food is delicious and everyone I have spoken to was so friendly. Fast service and great prices, will definitely be coming back!Thanks

This was always our go to place for Thai/Chinese takeaway and always worth the wait. Ordered tonight for the first time in 6 months but it was a massive disappointment. Not sure what has changed but the sauces in both the massaman and Thai red curry were gloopy and flavourless, very different to the dishes we’ve had from there previously. Please go back to your previous recipes!

I was coming there, the last 3 mount olmost avery day! but the quality is getting worse!
the chef just doesn't remember! You pay whit extra chili! no matter how many times you tell him this! He does not care! he just grins like he has something wrong! but it can't put in the normal amount either! the photos show that the chicken once had more color! I dont know why? But I think! i will never come back here!

Food was hot and on time good. surely Recommended. all in one 10/10 for takeout. or crispy lemon chicken Crispy and not too sweet and all the food perfectly seasoned. 👍

Ordered takeaway for the family. We had ordered: 1. Tom Yum Soup: awfully sweet and salty broth with prawn dunked in it. It’s not even anywhere close to a Tom Yum taste.
2. Prawn dumplings (fried): Super oily.
3. Satay chicken: only edible item. However the peanut sauce was full of sugar
4. Mee Goreng: again no where near a Mi Goreng and SUPER Salty... Noodles stir-fried with chilli and prawn added. Oh they did add a couple of slices of tomato and cucumber. No sign of egg 🙄
5. Nasi Goreng: Dry, high in SALT and guess what NO egg!
We saw 2 hours delivery slot and thought if they are that busy it must be good! Unfortunately worst takeaway we’ve ever had!
