Panda Oriental (Finchley)

Fantastic food and customer service. The food arrived hot and fresh, and was delicious. I’ve read the reviews on here, and they must be talking about another take away. I cannot fault this place, and the man taking our order couldn’t have been friendlier.

Tried this place for the first time tonight. I ordered a vegetable Pad Thai. It was very disappointing. Barely any veg, mainly just noodles, tasted more like sweet n sour and I suspect quite a lot of msg is used. I won't be going back. Very poor.

Food was okay, but the overall vibe has nothing to do with China. They played Arabian music the whole time. I don't have a problem with Arabian music, but it was a bit out of place in a Chinese restaurant.

I'm pretty sure they don't even have Chinese chefs. The food itself is not bad by any means, but just not authentic.

Another big problem is that they have AC, but it doesn't work, so I was sweating profusely the whole time.

I had Sweet Sour chicken , its worst 10£ sweet sour i could do better at home . Please dont go here you will waste your money.

Such a shame, this place used to really punch above its weight in the sea of mediocre takeaways and now it’s joined them and beaten them all. They’d just taken delivery of 1000’s of new printed menus that lacked the superb dishes they used to serve, or if they were there, they’ve been changed dramatically. It reminded me of what my Nan would’ve interpreted as an Asian dish from the 1970’s!

Yesterday I ordered food at 8:30pm, getting confirmation that food will arrive in about 40min. After 1h I called the restaurant and she said it will arrive in 20min. At 9:40pm I called again and she said it will arrive in some minutes. Guys I don't want to bore you, the story is that food arrived 2h later than what they said, and the food was sougy and we didn't get what we ordered.

This place is so nice, I was visiting the area first time and I was so lucky. Food was amazing, the guy at the till was so friendly and helpful. Definitely going back when around!
