Peking Chinese

This is my usual and I class myself as a regular probably using 8 to 10 times a year. Food has always been fantastic, but last night was awful. Don't know why but it was obviously a different chef preparing the meals, the meat had far too much corn flour on it which gave all the sauces a gloopy consistency and severely lacking in taste, the chicken balls were too doughey and even the young chow fried rice was not the same. Hope the reason is just that the chef is away on holiday or else I will have to find a new Chinese take away.

Good selection of meals. We tend to always have the starters so overall a meal for 3 can get expensive. Good covid service though ad phone orders only. Quality is always good.

No wonder David Chang and his family don’t need to deliver. Best Chinese around by a long way.
Have used this Chinese since it opened and never had a bad meal.

Have been going here for nearly thirty years. Have tried others around the town but this is by far the best. Food is always hot and delicious. Service is always prompt and polite.

Crispy beef was lovely, a bit spicy for me. Lovely mixed starter, really good value for the price. I found mixed veg a bit bland. My husband liked them though. We will definitely use them again, we are always impressed when we use them. Just a bit far for us really. Wasn't as warm as we would have liked when we got home, that's not their fault though.

We don't waste time going anywhere else now. Never had a bad dish, excellent fresh, tasty food

Takeaway only. Good food, good prices, fast service, my order is correct 90% of time sometimes I get an extra portion
