Wonderful House

One of those places that your just used to. Guy behind the counter acts like his a triad:) which always makes me laugh and adds character. Food is excellent value. Very well flavoured. wish they had more halal items on the venue. Their businesses would be booming if they catered for the locals (mostly bengali muslims).

Wonderful House serves good quality Chinese food. You can watch them cook the food. Friendly people. The place is very clean. Unfortunately, they don't deliver, but you can ring through your order for collection.

Located just outside of central London in an area called Bermondsey, the close access to the Underground made this a convenient place to stay. We were able to easily walk to the Tower Bridge. The house has three bedrooms with double beds and a fourth with a twin which was ideal for traveling with children. A small crib was available also. The owner was very responsive to our needs and made every effort to be accommodating. Good stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher made preparing meals a delight with a dining table that accommodates six easily. It even has a washer! The furnishings are getting a little tired, but I expect they get a lot of wear in this delightful house.

As someone who loves chinese food, this takeaway is probably my favourite. They have a great diverse menu and lots of options to choose from. I'd recommend trying their curry/bbq chips, it seem to be a favourite among customers. Their chow mein is also great.

Been closed for months, no sign of business owners when they'll return. Phone goes straight to voicemail. Please can you let your customers know when you'll be back?

After reading reviews, went for the curry chips, and they defo are very good, best in the local area from what I’ve had. They have the classical taste you’d expect, however the sauce is slightly on the thicker side, but overall really enjoyed it.

Got chicken fried rice, however this was average/bland, defo needs some work on this.

Will however give other dishes a try, as I will go in again for their curry chips.

Definite value for money as well, so worth a try.

Rating defo bumped higher because of the curry chips. Less weighting on the fried rice.

The best curry chips roll in London. I have lots of childhood memories in this place. First started going there when I was in year 7 in one of the secondary schools nearby. 25 years later, the food is still the same. This is a very popular take away in the area.

Been around the whole area looking for Chinese food cooked by Chinese people in this area is a joke. Found this hidden gem. Funny enough I know the guy behind the counter from BJJ.
