The Ruby

Food was very good. The only reason I've marked it down is that when you see the restaurant on Just Eat, you expect that they are able to deliver to my area... however an hour after ordering I received a call saying that they cant deliver to me. Understandable to some extent as I live in Kirkham, but If they cant deliver to somewhere, it shouldn't be in the list. But yes, otherwise the food was excellent and were it nearer, I'd order from here more often. Recommended if you live closer.

Food, amazing. Delivery, absolutely horrendous. Only two lads working in the shop and one delivery driver, so they just can't get the orders out. If you want to eat here, collection only is a must.

Quite possibly one of the worst Chinese meals I have ever had the displeasure of tasting. overpriced tasteless, greasy and dry. On entering the premises I should have realised it was going to be bad, after slipping on the greasy floor your greeted by a dirty curtain that looks like it’s been up a lifetime covering the kitchen, so you can’t see in

***WARNING*** ⚠ DO NOT PLACE ORDERS WITH THIS RESTAURANT.... placed a large order online food hub, payment was taken but food never arrived, phoned Ruby when the order was 2.5 hours late but ust kept saying 'it's on the way' eventually after 3 hours I phoned to cancel but of course they was having none of this and claimed I could not cancel the order. Obviously it never arrived and they never answered the phone to me again. contacted both Ruby and food hub the day after but neither seem interested and only offered a petty £4 voucher towards the costs of over £100. Absolutely disgusting.

I ordered through big foodies, when it arrived, the complete order was wrong . Not only wrong but what did arrive was foul. I contacted big foodies, who advised me to contact the outlet direct and was met with arrogant staff who stated they sent out the correct food. Let me tell all. I will not use big foodie again nor will I use the RUBY CHINESE TAKEAWAY PRESTON either. .... I expect better from anywhere.

Avoid this place at all costs! Ordered food at 7pm by 9:30 no food arrived. We contacted restaurant after just eat said it had been delivered. We were answered by a very rude man, absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Explaing it was still cooking considering we phoned an hour prior and he said the same thing, still cooking. Clearly had not checked our order number for a real update. We told him to cancel the order and asked for refund he then started screaming down the phone to say he doesn't do refunds and to context justeat. Luckily justeat issued our refund. But after reading upon the place sounds like this is a recurring problem with this takeaway place not even worthy of 1 star.
