The Dragon Palace

I'm up here in this rural backwater thinking what on earth shall I eat?
As a vegetarian in a cattle market town I was seriously worried about this. But The Dragon Palace came to the rescue.
They have a good selection of vege dishes, including my favorites of salt/pepper tofu, and tofu in black bean sauce.
Both these dishes were first class. tasty and very generous helpings.
I ordered an egg fried rice, and this was not so good. It was a little dry and bland, needing soya sauce and a few peas to make it the way I like, basically a plain fried rice. But overall I was surprised by the quality of the food, not to mention the fast service (all food was freshly cooked)and very polite staff.
A great takeaway and way better than what was expected.

Lovely food. Friendly and helpful staff. Who are a pleasure to talk to. Family run business. Excellent Chinese takeaway food. U have to pick the food up. But not a huge problem.

Possibly recently under new management ?? Easily the best Chinese in Leek. Lovely food, friendly service, quick and efficient. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing place in terms of service and food. We rocked up after walking about 19k through the hills and the lady was so nice to me seeing how tired i was. She even brought out the food outside and was looking for me while we sat in the car. Food was also delish. Thank you so very much. All the best to you! 🤝🏼

Good quality food and really nice staff. Definitely recommended! I was visiting the area and certainly wish this place was near me.

My partner and I picked up chinese food from here yesterday. We are from out of town and really fancied some chinese food.
The lady on the counter was very polite and helpful, the food was lovely and the prices were great. Reccomend for good chinese take out food. 5*

Good prices, fantastic duck in orange sauce 😋😋. Had a king prawn dish too which wasn't quite to my liking but the prawns were lovely and tasty.
