Wok Express

I ordered from Wok Express today, was generally good, however, some of the food was not very tasty. I ordered the vegetable chow mein, I needed to add more soya sauce to it as it needed seasoning. I also ordered the beef with ginger and spring onion. The sauce tasted really nice, however, the beef was very chewy. The chicken dumplings were good, but needed more side sauce.

The portions on the other hand are very good. Very filling and more than enough. The delivery was super fast and on time.

Consistent quality whenever ordered. Star dish is Lemon Chicken, generous portico of rice and noodles.

I have ordered from this take a way numerous times in the past but not in the last few months and reading some of the most recent reviews published was very much in two minds whether to order tonite .
I am so glad I ignored the reviews
My order was for a meal for two mains , a rice , and stir fried veggies
PERFECTION
Arrived freshly cooked and hot within 20 minutes of placing the order
Portions were generous as always
Ingredients fresh and tasty and all dishes beautifully cooked
In our opinion this is one of , if not the best take away in north Watford at very reasonable prices

Taxi driver who delivered ask me for £1 yes £1. as i asked could i have some red chilli on smoked chicken unbelievable and told me to pay a £1?and my order was over £50. shame i done a lot ordering here. now i i avoid the place. bloody cheek

Please don’t waste your money on this place, did a couple orders and the food taste was awful, dried and bitter and I had to throw it away.

Tasty food, especially the Salt and pepper squid (in Appetisers) and the House special crispy noodles (in Noodles).
Only 4 stars because they don't do any Ho Fun noodle dishes or Chicken Satay noodles.
Surely one of the better chinese takeaways.

Have used wok for a long time and noticed recently that the standard of food was dropping. Just ordered this evening and will never order again! Not only was the food substandard and full of oil we had 4 public hairs in our food!!! Yuck would advise keep well away.

Ordered food at 5.05pm was with me in 20 minutes..chips were like cardboard..omelette was chewy..sweet and sour sauce was like jelly. The chicken balls were ok..I won't order from there again..disappointed
