Chinese Gourmet

The owners of this local Chinese Takeaway are very friendly. They clearly love their food and their customers! I was invited to their kitchen and got to see where the action takes place. The chef was creating some delightful and tasty Salt & Pepper Prawns and that made me hungry. All their dishes are lovingly made and they are happy to make it to your liking. My favourites are their Satay Chicken, Salt Spare Ribs, Hot & Sour Soup and Singapore Rice Noodles (with extra curry powder!). Beautiful.

Best Chinese in Croxley! Myself and family have eaten takeaway from here many times over the years and always good. In 2019/2020 the food has been exceptional and good competitive pricing.

Always friendly on the phone and in the shop and always quick.

Very rude and abrupt while taking your order. The food is expensive for what it is . The Chicken balls are oily and the batter is still doughy yet the chicken is dry, tough and tasteless. The chicken rice has so little chicken that you may as well just buy the rice. This is also true of the chicken noodles, a trivial amount of chicken! The noodles themselves taste cheap and the whole thing literally drips oils. The beef dish had 3 small pieces of meat. This is very low budget food but it is not cheap! I complained about the lack of chicken in the chicken rice and they could not have cared less. Avoid this place, poor quality, terrible value, unpleasant service.

Lots of choice in Rickmansworth so needs to be good- had a couple of takeaways from here and not great I am afraid
Best consistent is Woks Cooking

Probably not the best Chinese you have ever had. However, as a local takeaway this place is just fine, reasonably price great freindly service. Now even better that they accept card! We have all been happy with our orders. Would recommend.

It's my local go-to Chinese takeaway, but I tried Wok's Cooking on recommendation from here and I wasn't impressed. From now, I'm sticking to Chinese Gourmet - really good quality, good portion sizes and always freshly made and hot. Staff are friendly too.
