About 2 months ago I ordered food here. Found a COOKED FLY in the food. This was only discovered part way through the meal. My family have been coming here for 10 years+. I rang and told them about the meal. They denied this and told us we must come down and show them the our meals. Outrageous. We obliged and came down with the meal still on our plate! They still refused they had made a mistake. I would have been fine with the fly as mistakes happen but to be presented with denial and aggression was shocking. I have since returned to the establishment where I was asked "were you the person who complained?". Again, shocked with this first point of contact I said "Well yes but mistakes happen". She said "You shouldn't order here if you aren't happy with the food". I asked "would you rather I didn't order?". She said "Well it was a MISTAKE that you were refunded...". So I just said "okay I'll leave". I honestly don't know what to say. I gave the place a second chance? Shocking service and food isn't up to scratch. Ordered only at convenience of location. I would advise that you take your custom elsewhere. Golden House is a good one. Thanks

Went to get a takeaway from here on Sunday very disappointed cockroaches galore affter being bitten twice in less than 3 mins I decided to give it a miss got a meal from jasmine instead really tasty and fresh reported to food standards agency's in the intrast of the public avoid this place 2nd review definitely cockroaches I know what 1 is and what they look like don't call me a liar hope you get shut down looking at the state of the back door would be better if it was cleaned more offern didn't realise I had to notify mangerment I thought the food environment agency was the 1 to call

A reliable and delicious Chinese in Bury! Been going here for the past 2 years and never fails to provide a lovely meal- full of flavour, and meat consistently good quality!

Absolutely lovely food!!! Best Chinese around!! Customer service is fantastic, staff are always friendly!! Highly recommended this Chinese restaurant, food is always nice and hot!!!
