Good Taste Chinese Cuisine Takeaway

Just ordered a chicken dish but that sure as hell wasn't chicken. Couldn't even put a name to it. Slimy and disgusting. Cost me a tenner with rice and chips. WAY overpriced. Customer service non-existent. It's called 'Good Taste Chinese' but I can assure you there's a much more appropriate name for it, and it ain't 'Good'.

The only Star this review should get is the one where my food will be coming out of.

Always liked the food, but don't use this as my main chinese as its just too expensive compared to other Chinese restaurants. Others are just as good and cheaper.
£31-50 for 4 meals makes Dominoes look cheap.
Also its about time they got with the times and accepted card payments. I wasn't the only one tonight who got his card out to be told cash only.

Stopped going to this takeaway several years ago - but gave them a try tonight as it is Sunday and my usual takeaway was closed. Went for chicken chop suey. Unimpressed with the dish which was bland and tasteless in my view. I also found the chicken far less cooked than I like it - with an odd slimey texture. The meal mostly ended up in the bin as I didn't enjoy it at all. My view - disappointing.

Ordered duck wraps, chilli beef, schezuan veggies and chop suey last night for my birthday and it was as good as ever, so don't always rely on bad reviews. I've ordered from there for years (mainly just the duck wraps) and they've always been good.

Always order Chicken Chow Mein on a Saturday for my grandson, he loves it.
Thought we'd all have a treat tonight I ordered Vegetable Curry.
Very very watery tried mixing together but still watery, no taste even when I added salt.
Extremely disappointed

Ordered sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style , was horrible, second time it’s been bad.
It’s just soggy, I’ve had it for years and years from here been great, don’t know what’s going on there. Ordered beef with green peppers and black bean sauce , got home it was chicken, but at least that was ok.

My first visit since Covid, I fancied a birthday treat. Absolutely spot on really enjoyed my meal, crispy chicken in plum sauce, chicken chow mein, chicken wings and the pancake roll, delicious.
