After this evening we won’t be ordering from here again .
We have used this place for years and have never had a bad meal and it has always been delivered on time but recently it has been taken over and it has totally fallen apart since .
We placed an order tonight and the person answering the phone was very abrupt and rude and just didn’t seem to understand , she was having a full on argument that sounded very aggressive with someone who I suspect is the new owners in the background and she eventually slammed the phone down. ( this was not the original woman who has been on the phone for years as she has always been brilliant)
After the woman on the phone changed her mind twice on how long it would be , we waited, nothing arrived…… we called again ( after trying 15 times to get through) and the same woman couldn’t find our order and took it again whilst having another full on shouting match with someone , when I asked how long she again rudely said she would check and call back in 3 minutes… again no call back !!!!! On the 3rd time of calling she said she had no order and was rude again and asked for my order ! I asked to speak to the original front of house lady who was very apologetic but said she would take the order for the 4th time but it would be at least another 1/2 hour……. We gave up at this point and cooked ourselves.
The new owners are going to lose every customer they have if they treat them like this !!!!!!!
Looking at the other review from tonight maybe it’s best it didn’t turn up as they were sick after eating their food and again experienced the full on aggressive shouting when they complained !!!!!!! Strongly advise to avoid this place .
Today we had the same order we have had the whole time going. We got home started it and both felt violently ill. I put the rest of mine back in the tub (the other bit down the toilet). I went back there to complain and ask for a £19.20 refund. Well, I was abused, I was called a lier, I was accused of being a drunk and that I had been drinking and just wanted money back for what I couldn't eat. The new employee was brought to tears and felt the need to offer the refund out of her own money. Other employees told the manager that I was a regular and had never come back to complain before. While I was there other customers were coming in about being given the wrong food or delivery orders that had never arrived. My father then came to the Chinese aswell (I thought to check I was ok as didn't have my phone and had been gone a long time). No! It was to say that he had been violently sick as well.
When I questioned the manager if the temperature of the beef was checked. She yelled at me and went to get a meat thermometer out of a cupboard (no where near the cooking area). She blew the dust off it and waved it in my face as well as 2 cooking certificates.
I think trading standards and environmental health would like to find out what is happening there. Selling multipack drinks on their own for example. As well as food sitting for at least 40 mins which is what was happening as I was originally waiting for mine.
I asked for an email address for the owner. This was written on the back of a piece of paper that had someones name, address and phone number on.
After being shouted at and abused I definitely will not be risking a return.
I beg that whomever reads this to also not RISK a visit and you are chancing being very ill.

The manager refused a refund because I was breaking the law by not returning all of the food. I said we had to eat some to go from this doesn't taste great ( something we can put up with) to I'm going to be ill. The manager asked me, and I am swearing to god's honest truth, to bring her the sick to show her we hadn't just eaten it. She told me to get it out of the already ( obviously) flushed toilet.
For the first time I called to complain that the food was awful and only fit for the bin.
Expecting a refund they offered me 20% of my next order (joke) but I ain’t laughing.
Told me the manager was not there and they would call me back (not).
Till old chef comes back STAY CLEAR
