THE MANDARIN Chinese Takeaway

I bought Chips, curry sauce and egg fried rice. I haven't eaten the Rice and the curry sauce yet but I can tell you the chips were wonderful, crispy, fluffy, crunchy and soft so I expect the rest of the food to also be at the same expectation and quality.

Not my regular take away, only use when my usual is closed. Good food but very slow service, waited over 15min in the shop after being told on the phone my order would be ready in 10min. While I was waiting the lady serving had to apologise to 3 people on the phone because their delivery was late, in fact 1 hadn't even left the shop, so it wasn't just me who had to wait.

Really enjoyed our meal, good sized portions too. Wish they did coconut rice (cooked in coconut milk). They should repair the broken shop sign as it looks very scruffy.

Ordered from this place at 6:53pm got told it would be hare for 8:05pm. I rang up at 8:25 to be told that my order has just left and will be a further 5-10 minutes. My food finally came at 8:35 meaning it was half an hour late and took a total of 102 minutes for it to be cooked and delivered. This is disgusting customer service and I dont think I will be returning again.

Would give no stars as came early but wasn’t hot it must of been last nights left overs as it was bland small portions and the crispy chicken I don’t think it had any chicken in it just tasted like dry hard batter absolutely appalling will not recommend

We went back recently after years away.

The best chinese in Mansfield by far. The shredded chilly beef is crispy not soggy, the food is hot, the sauces are refined and not full of vinager, the quality of the raw materials is of a very good standard and deliveries are punctual. Well worth the money.
