Sunshine Take Away

Thought we would try this take away tonight I went here many years ago I rem now why we didn't go again !!! £2.40 for the sweet & sour won tons they had the tiniest prawns all pastry .the special fried rice was very bland the rice tasted like boiled rice ! Garlic mushrooms where nice though i will stick to my regular take away such a shame

Me the Mrs and the little man had a takeaway from sunshine and it was by far the best Chinese takeaway anywhere around! The couple who own the Sunshine are extremely polite and friendly, and the food is second to none. Would highly recommend to anyone, worth travelling extra miles to get a lovely meal.

Friendly staff, but the food wasn't that great. Beef was a bit grey and chewy, and the fried rice was mushy. Good offers on the set meals, and good portion sizes.

Stayed in the area two nights and ate here the first night. It was so good we ended up coming back the second night also!

First of all, the woman who served me was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The first night I tried the Chow Mein and fried rice, both excellent. The second night my wife had the Chow Mein with white rice and I had the chicken in chili sauce. Everything was great.

Highly recommend

Didn't sample the Chinese food, but went on a lunchtime to buy fish & chips, which were very tasty, so would definitely recommend.
