The Golden Valley Cantonese Take Away

DO NOT order from Golden Valley Chinese in Porth as they took our order wrong, when we phoned up we realised a 11 year old boy (who sounds like a girl-no offence just to make you aware) was taking the orders, took ours wrong and they delivered it. When we phoned to explain and ask for correct order to be re-delivered with wrong order swopped they said no, would not refund either and had a major amount of abuse from staff. I will never order from these again and would advise others not to either! They offered a discount next time we ordered but obviously we wanted correct food or refund. Our final solution off them was a refund of food but no refund of delivery when the fault was their end. Their excuse was that they had to pay the delivery driver to come to us! Why should we be penalised for their incompetence! I’ve tried to find their page on here but no success so please share as I want people made aware and them to realise they can’t treat customers like this!!

2nd time they have got our order wrong. When we rang this time, no apologies and said we could have the correct order next time as the driver wouldn't be back for a while. Paid 4.80 for a fried rice instead of the Singapore chow mein we had ordered. There will not be a next time, I don't normally complain but really annoyed.

Twice I've ordered and had two messeges telling me my foods going to be late. 50 mins altogether. I called asked for compensation. Another dish or free delivery. But got a stupid girl that kept repeating herself. Robot like ha ha ! Won't recommend or order again.

Absolutely shocking service! Items missing, when phoning no apology the woman was shouting loud and rudely in background. Was asked to come and pick them up I said the reason I ordered was due to isolating. They then lied about driver being at my house. Waited another 35 mins for missing items still no apology. Food was stone cold and thrown in the bin. Waste of £24! This is how you treat reg customers. Lost my custom!

We ordered through Just Eat and our order arrived with missing items, which happens, we weren't upset about it, we phoned the restaurant and were asked if we could come pick up. We told them that we don't drive and aren't close enough to walk and were then told that the driver would call back. She did was was very rude, responding to my partner's greeting with "So, what's wrong?" We explained, and she asked if we were happy to wait for our items or if we would like a refund. When we said we'd prefer to wait she tried to pressure us into taking the refund. My partner reiterated several times that without the missing items, I would be left with no food, at which point she said she'd call us back, then hung up. It's been nearly two hours and we've not heard anything from them. Very disappointing service.

Food took too long 2 rating hygene food isnt cooked flys were everywhere there was one worker thst i seen the whole time thst i was there theres a window above the door that has spiderwebs on with dead flys tje food deliery hox was dirty and smelt like cut grass

I placed an order through just eat and they phoned me when out on delivery. They were in the wrong place. I tried to give directions and also gave my address again. They refused to deliver as their sat nav wasn't working. The woman on the phone was very rude. She called back and said I could collect the order and they would wave the delivery fee. When I said no thanks they were rude again and hung up. Why would I collect when I asked for delivery and the food was already out and about. It would have been cold by the time I collect it. The attitude was awful.

Ordered several times, a bit hit and miss with some items depending on what time of the day you order.

Though still trying to work out how vegetable fried rice, comes as rice with fried vegetables in a sauce ontop!

Not too happy this time with delivery charge, the 30p bag charge and the service charge.

Will be trying elsewhere.
