Silver Swan Chinese Takeaway

Our food tonight was delicious and it was worth the wait,
(My fault ordered later than normal)
It was the best meal we have had from there, we will be sticking with the special fried rice and crispy chicken ,
we have been having good food from them for years.

Ordered Duck with Mixed veg (no beansprouts please), Vegetable rice and a Special Fried rice with a curry sauce plus two large pancake rolls.
The duck meal was served with the skin on which, if cooked well would have been acceptable but instead was found to be pale, fatty and limp and served with only mushrooms and bamboo shoots.....the overriding taste was just the mushrooms. Adding pak choi and carrots and crisping up the duck skin would have made this dish so much nicer.
The special fried rice was equally disappointing. No prawns/shrimps nor any diced meat through the rice, just the layer of meat sat on top of bland rice.
Furthermore, the two large pancake rolls we ordered turned out to be two bags of mini pancake rolls, amounting to about 20 of them.
Will be ordering my next takeaway meals from one of the better Chinese takeaway restaurants in future.

Worse food iv ever had in 25 years of ordering Chinese, chicken balls was clearly cooked day before , rice was slimy, an can of coke flat ! Do not order from here 🤢

Worst Chinese ever. Chips were raw, egg fried rice was mushy and completely tasteless. Really disappointing

Apparently this is their version of chop suey, basically 4 bits of chicken and bean sprouts, with water sauce.Won’t be ordering there again. No refund and no apology.

We had a take away and the chips weren't very nice.The rest was OK.

Our favourite Chinese takeaway for sure. Food second to none and ive tried a fair few 😉
