St George’s Church

Beautiful church, friendly,welcoming congregation.
Excellent venue for the annual waterlooville music festival with its amazing acoustics . Also popular for other events such as weddings, christenings, baptisms, etc, with an adjoining hall which can be hired for parties etc.

I go to the very friendly toddler group on Tuesday mornings with my 2 year old grandson, lots of varied toys/activities for preschool children and the chance to chat to other parents/grandparents over a cuppa

A wonderful spirit of Anglicanism. Very welcoming. We loved meeting Alfreda, the vicar's dog.

A place of peace and tranquility where you can talk to God.
Here I was able to light a candle and say a prayer for my family.
I found the congregation to be both friendly and welcoming.
The church hall next door hosts a variety of activities throughout the week.

Went to Waterlooville Music Festival at At George's this week. My word, it's certainly a must go to next year!
Thoroughly enjoyed all the musical variations from Complain Ukulele Players, Horndean Technical College band (and their wow of a girl singer) to Jersey Boys.
Final evening Last Night of the Proms brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!
A huge thanks to Father Colin Lawler and his team for organising such a wonderful event.

Really tranquil, a good place to worship.
