This is a lovely Victorian Gothic revival. The exterior has a glorious spire and the interior has some very interesting color rather than the usual bare stone walls we usually associate with Gothic architecture. The church has very limited hours - so check their website before going.

All Saints' Church on Jesus Lane was built by architect George Fredrick Bodley between 1863 and 70 with a English Gothic revival exterior and Arts and Crafts interior and the tallest spire in Cambridge when it was first built.
There has been a long history of All Saints churches in Cambridge, with interesting names like All Saints by the Hospital or All Saints by the Castle. Most of these have now been demolished.
In 1973, services ceased after a large decline in congregation size. It is now cared for by the Churches Conservation Trust.
The church is famed for is strikingly intricate interior decoration. The alabaster font, painted pulpit, textiles and tiles are Bodley's designs. The stencilled wall and ceiling designs are by F. R. Leach and feature exotic floral friezes as well as religious symbolism. The vast array of gorgeous stained features work by prominent designers of the time, including William Morris, Charles Kempe and Ford Madox Brown.

A notable Bodley gothic revival church with a splendidly decorated interior retaining a medieval muted light. Stained glass windows by Kempe, Strachan, William Morris, Burne-Jones and Ford Madox Brown. Opening times are subject to change but open occasionally on Saturdays.
