This beautiful old church is nestled in a well kept graveyard full of snowdrops in the spring.
Inside the church is peaceful and very clean. Everyone is welcome. There is a small selection of second hand books for sale of a couple of the pews at the back of the church.

Historic Church (Norman origins and many original features). Interesting history and features such as box pews, medieval Wall paint, medieval glass. Always open and welcoming but note it's a functioning church so check service times before entering. Usually volunteers/members/villagers around, many of whom happy to chat about a much loved place. Free admission but they welcome any contributions as it is expensive to care for and keep safe for people.

Nice church next to the little village it is a nice walk around the grounds and inside you can tell it has been there for 900 years the place has a lot of history well worth a walk if you are in the area.

Visited here as part of a scavenger game with my team during the Gates Cambridge orientation at the peak district last month. Such a beautiful place. Reading the epitaphs on the grave stones was a surreal experience.

Lovely church at Christmas filled with decorated trees, each sponsored by a different part of the community.
2022 photographs added.
