I visited St Oswalds Roman Catholic Church in Longton near Preston and it was a most enjoyable experience. The church itself was not open to visit however I visited the cemetery and remembrance gardens at the back of the church. It is a well maintained garden and has a lovely figurine of the Virgin Mary at the back of the garden. I would recommend a visit to St Oswalds Roman Catholic in Longton near Preston.

Visited to assess state of CWGC headstones in this and other local churchyards. Well maintained and a peaceful spot.
