Onslow Street Play Area

This small playground area and park has been "shoehorned" between the surrounding Victorian terraced town houses by Leicester City Council during the urban redevelopment of this area between the 1970-90s. It is located off a street that was closed and then pedestrianised to provide a better atmosphere for this facility.
The playground area has a good selection of play equipment for children to use and the adjoining wall has been painted with a colourful and cheerful mural.
There is also a "thumbnail" sized park located to the side of the playground area so good use of the space available was made by the Council when they laid it out.
