Shay was absolutely amazing. She fitted my dress to perfection, making difficult alterations on the different materials. When the dress wasn't quite right at the fitting (because of being sold the wrong sized hoop!), Shay came up with a solution that worked at no extra cost. A fantastic pressure free experience at a time when lots of things can become very stressful.

Shay is incredibly talented at what she does. She is one of the most patient people I have ever come across - and has the skill of dealing with bridal meltdowns in such a calming manner you can't help but be reassured by her. I had a bespoke piece made alongside my wedding dress alterations and Shay made the vision I had in my head into reality. Shay and her team are truly exceptional! I purchased a sample wedding dress two sizes too big for me (I fell in love with the gown and it was the last one!), and I was nervous about embarking on alterations. My gown was heavily beaded, with sleeves, and full princess ballgown style. Shay completely transformed my gown to fit perfectly, as if it had been made bespoke! Trust her with confidence! I am so glad that I found Shay and Buttons and Bows. Shay was amazing form start to finish, when I was worried that my dress detailing was too intricate to make alterations, she assured me that everything would be fine and it was! When I went to my first fitting, Shay knew exactly what to do and I didn't need to even think about it! My dress needing hemming and the straps needed shortening.
