I had my wedding dress altered at the alterations boutique and they did an incredible job! I needed a complicated alteration done to the bust of the dress and after visiting various seamstresses in London, the Alterations boutique was the only place that convinced me that it was doable (at an acceptable price) and that they could do it well. The three seamstresses there I had contact with, Rose, Nelly and Mia, were all very helpful and professional, clearly knew what they were doing and understood exactly what I wanted. I was a very picky customer and both the seamstresses and the manager Raul all had a lot of patience with me and saw me fitting after fitting until I was completely happy. And indeed it looks amazing now! No comparison to how it was when I took it in. I’m very happy and would recommend them to anyone who needs wedding dress alterations.

I felt very comfortable and they were very quick (but not rushed). My dress fits perfectly. I would definitely recommend their service.

I’ve had an unbelievably smooth, stress-free experience in every aspect of my bridal alterations - two dresses as well as my mum’s outfit! - thanks to Rose and the rest of the AB team. The level of service here goes over and beyond - Rose in particular has been so warm and friendly, endlessly accommodating, incredibly calm and done everything from an on-the-spot repair for a strap that had come loose to helping me think about how to style my dress and avoid wardrobe malfunctions (body tape is the way forward!) I ended up having three alterations and felt relaxed the whole time thanks to her skill and fantastic professionalism. I’m so grateful to the whole team and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the boutique to anyone in need of alterations, bridal or otherwise!

When you walk in and the customer in front says “you were recommended by my friend in L.A” you know you’re in the right place.
With a last minute tasking from the military they took my uniform and turned it round in 2 days! Simply the nicest people couldn’t do enough and Paul is a true gentleman. Highly recommend exceptional workmanship. Thank you so much.

I had my Max Mara coat reclined here. The quality of the work is fabulous. Reasonable cost for the material (3m) and work (£300). I travelled from Lincolnshire to London to drop it off and then couriered it back to me for £20. Very happy. (I did have some reservations when I first dropped it off as I found the appointment choosing the material and colour quite rushed- I was in and out within 5 minutes and paid quite a lot of money and left them with my favourite coat) but no regrets and very happy !! Thank you!!

I came for my bridal fitting for a February 2023 wedding at the start of September the year before. Nelly was the most patient and supportive attendant, and one of the most talented seamstresses. She really listened to what I wanted for my day, taking into account how I would be dancing in it, and gave her stellar recommendations. The whole experience at AB with the wider team was very calming and positive, and I can’t recommend them enough for any future brides!

Paul and the team at Alterations Boutique are absolutely amazing!!! 6 stars!! After buying a dress from a "reputable" bridal company and being left with a faulty zip and badly fitted straps they were unable to re-alter in time for event less than 2 weeks away.. I was so stressed and feeling hopeless. I contacted Paul (my new fairy godmother) he was Excellent, he reassured me they could fix my dress and in time for the event and was even able to book me in for alteration the same day. On arrival the store was beautifully kept very clean and tranquil, the staff were super attentive and I felt so at ease. My dress was even ready for collection 2 days before agreed. 👍 Work was beautifully done and I now cannot wait to wear my new dress to the ball. Thank you so much to Paul and the team for making it all possible!! Will definitely be returning for all future alterations.
