Jima Jima Tailoring

I took a suit here to have it re-tailored as I have dropped 5 stone and 8 inches since I bought the suit. They have literally taken each piece of the suit apart and put it back together so that you would never know. I am amazed at the quality and care taken - I didn’t think they would want to take the job on! It looks superb and I am over the moon. Highly recommended!

I bought a suit offline for a friends wedding, was an ok fit but now after this lovely lady pulled in the sides and made it look more tailored took up the legs and shrunk the waist it looks fantastic. I've never used a taylor before but will absolutely go back here for any I'll fitting items in the future. Such a nice lady who treated me like a person and was genuinely interested in what what I was using the suit for and how I felt after the work was done. 10 out of 10 completely above expectations 👌

These ladies are amazing! They created an amazing Vicky Pollard outfit for me for a friend's wedding, from scratch using a couple of t-shirts and some joggers!

Took two bridesmaids dresses here to be altered (one of them is pictured on the left) and the other is not pictured. They did an incredible job! They took one of the dresses down by two dress sizes and it fitted like a glove, felt so confident. They have repaired my gym leggings, and many of my partners jackets and they have always done a fantastic job. Won’t go anywhere else for my alterations or repairs.

I went here to get a bridesmaid dress tailored as it needed 2 inches from the bottom. They were really lovely at first and this is why I didn’t mind paying the £32 they asked for up front, although this was pricey compare to other tailors, I thought it would be better to pay a bit more and support local.
The problems came when I went to pick up my dress. The older lady who I believe is Jima was there, my friend attended on the day I had been told to collect and it wasn’t ready with no explanation given, they didn’t ask for a receipt or phone number to confirm I had asked her to collect.
When I attended the following week it was ready but Jima was very rude to me, she told me that she was going to charge me more money because I didn’t have a receipt (which they never gave me) despite me showing her on my bank statement I had paid and she had record of this in her book too.
The dress has pieces of stitch hanging out of the bottom and although was now the correct length was not done to a high standard so I had to go elsewhere to get it sorted.
Wish I’d gone somewhere else now.
