Ample parking.
Disabled access outside the store is good.
But in the store I found getting around with my zimmer frame at times very tight, esp when very busy.
Great selection across the age ranges.
Staff very helpful and engaging, service around the till area is quick and staff are regularly called to tills if the queues get too long

Nice and quiet even on a Saturday morning. Easy parking, friendly staff. Well laid out store, great range and really low prices. Very happy 5 year old after clothes shopping!

I recently visited the Fareham Matalan branch and found myself lost in what to purchase for my grandchildren’s Christmas presents. I reached out for some help and a young lady, that I think goes by the name of Sarah, kindly helped me to make a decision. The staff are very friendly here and cannot thank Sarah enough, who then assisted me at tills with polite service. Great store.

Nice shop plenty of choice but it's like an oven inside they have air conditioning but don't turn it on its so hot and uncomfortable inside the store

Good selection of clothes but the checkouts are awful. Bad signage and ended up having to queue twice as only self checkouts can be used despite there being a separate queue for manned checkouts. Seems a number of other people got confused where to queue also.

I struggled to find what I wanted to buy as they seemed to have put swimwear over winter clothing, in January. I usually struggle not to overspend, on this visit, I couldn't find much I wanted to buy. Pity, it used to be my favourite clothes store.

Virtually forced to use self service in these stores now. I won't! Matalan don't pay my wages, I'm a customer and if I'm spending my hard earned cash the least they can do is supply me with an actual person!

Great store, some real bargains on clothes and other stuff.
