Amazing staff they went out of the way to help me. I was alone trying on lots of dresses for my holiday the lady in the fitting room was sooo nice and helped me picked nice outfits for my holiday... Then she even told me I could save 10% by becoming a member - the two staff helped me open an account as I am terrible with modern technology... So pleased best customer service ever..

Visited H&M (Sutton store) to return Baseball style jacket brought for relative (L/too big). Having attempted multiple times to seek a smaller size jacket (both online/at various stores, as far as Harrow), was delighted to find similar style replacement. H&M's charming & patient assistant proved a real asset to her work by her courteous, polite & exceedingly helpful manner. Despite having an H&M account, didn't download app, which assistant asked me to check for possible promotions to use against purchase. Equally, despite saving PW to easily access account, it would not, making tensions mount!
Assistant calmly suggested resetting PW, allowing use of a 25% discount off purchase (which would've gone unnoticed had Assistant not recommended it), resulting in £10 off purchase.
As size had already been an issue, I asked Assistant if she'd mind trying replacement jacket (XS), as similar size to relative, which she kindly obliged; confirming belief XS better than M. This young lady was so incredibly patient & her care shown to her customers, exemplary.
The store itself have a superb range of good quality attire for most ages, offering a regular turnover in uptodate fashion at reasonable costs. It's well set out with plenty of room between rails & a sensible boxed area for queuing customers, on busier days. Items can also be ordered/paid for online & collected via stores Click & Collect. (There's also a field (prompt bar) on online form to check availability in local store).
(Accessing online accounts does appear to have a flaw; not been able to access account multiple times forcing me to reset PW - please could H&M's IT look into this).
Having been to store on previous occasion where a different Assistant proved disinterested in her role, with quite an unfortunate brusk/unhelpful manner, a huge thank you to yesterday's kind Assistant serving me, you deserve recognition & set a high example for your peers to follow 😉

My experience in this place was beyond terrible. I wanted to exchange the size of some items I purchased online, and so I had to cue in 2 different lines as there aren't any signs around. When I was finally at the till, I asked how to exchange the items. I was told by a very stressed lady Nikita that due to me not having the new items, she will not help me because I have too many requests and generally I'm being too rude and she refuses to help me at all. She did not explain how the exchange works but expected me to know it, then instead of explaining anything, after I said I don't have the items with me, she just said 'oh, well'. When asked what she meant, she became very defensive and called the manager Jesus, who spoke to her for a moment and then told me to leave the store. What happened?

When I left, I called the customer service to complain over the phone. h&m customer service did absolutely nothing to help. They literally couldn't care less. @H&M really? People working in the Sutton store are so arrogant and miserable, they managed to change my opinion about the brand. Why working somewhere if you hate your job? Don't even try dealing with customers with such attitude.
A week after I went to another store when I was welcomed by friendly and helpful staff, so much different to what's in Sutton. Definitely do not recommend going there.

Is it the holidays?? ..but my husband wanted a jeans shirt..we went there 3 times ...the shop was almost empty..the same shirts were there on the rack ..but we never got the right size...the only answer we got from a shop assistant was..we only have those that are there..no interest ..no desire to please..very impersonal...no wonder all those shops are closing one after the other..!!
England is no longer what it used to be!..

Love H & M prices and quality very good my only downer is that there's not enough tills open short staffed i expect like everywhere else after covid

I can not express how much I love this h&m. I got a dress from here which was black with a lace cross on it and it was to die for. I recently got some cargos and they are so comfy! I also got a few pairs from the men section and I have to say the money was worth it the cargos from the mens bit have so much pocket space and the material is so nice,soft and comfortable, what is also in the clothing is a elastic lace which acts like a belt but hidden. All the staff here where lovely and looks more welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this h&m to anyone really, the clothing choices are more spread out however they do keep pieces of clothing in however its hard to find the clothes that you are looking for as in my opinion its not as organised as everything is everywhere.

I was impressed bye the range of good quality clothes at reasonable prices.Must recommend.
