Flannels

I recently purchased a pair of Alexander McQueen shoes for my daughter on her Birthday through click & collect ! They were discounted to a very good price and I was notified in good time that they had arrived. I collected the parcel at the Romford store but not allowed the opportunity to check them. Upon arriving home I opened the package only to find the box was broken and the shoes looked as though they had been returned and just thrown back in the box ! While this is a small matter I would have expected an expensive pair of designer shoes to have arrived neat and tidy and packaged properly. If I had purchased them from Bond St I am positive they would have been presented in the highest standard !

Very disappointed with the service I received yesterday at the Romford branch, especially as I usually spend a lot of money at Flennels - well I won’t be anymore!
The staff are very welcoming and attentive, however the senior member (maybe the manager) needs more training and should be leading by example to his team, not leaving them shocked after he single handily lost that branch a big sale.
I’ll have to start spending my money at Selfridges again.

Till froze on payment section, manager insisted I wouldn’t get charged so I walked away with nothing but I did get charged. 3 stars as the manager was very helpful after I got charged

I went in store to exchange a necklace we had purchased online. The lady working at the jewellery counter provided false information, refusing to exchange because “due to their policy they don’t return jewellery” and explained this was both in store and online. I explained that policy was only on pierced jewellery. She remained persistent and refused to help me. Once leaving the store i was able to do a return online, further proving her lack of customer service. This has made my exchange more complicated than necessary.

Terrible customer service . The store manager lied about the return process and despite me proving her wrong by showing her flannels website she continued to lie . I see from other reviews this seems to be the norm in romford . I've spent over 5K IN flannels in the last 3 month but will never shop there again

It is extremely welcome to have an establishment that actually offers good clothing that is locally accessible. There is a modest selection of high-end clothing and shoes, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

However, I find it very strange that a store with such a high socioeconomic bar to clear in order to purchase some articles from it is in such a poor and deprived area. As you can ascertain from the lack of any reviews besides this one, there are hardly any customers in the shop; you will most likely be the only person besides the staff in the store and any one time. I would assume that this store will not be around for long, so if you wish to visit this store, I recommend doing so soon.

Though, due to the limited size and selection available in this store, you would be much better off travelling to Harrods in Knightsbridge. There you have a vastly wider array of not only clothing, but also home goods and furniture. Also you would benefit from points gained from your purchases through the Harrods rewards programme.
