Lovely staff and clothes

Very lovely boutique and the lady was most helpful

Purchased a stunning silk dress which I instantly loved but sadly it was marked (circle 5cm diameter). The advisor said it was a one off piece but assured me the mark would come out easily and offered a discount to cover the cleaning cost.

Took the dress to a specialist dry cleaner the very same day who showed me 3 further marks and stains. He told me that the stains were old and would never come out.

Went back to the boutique and showed the additional stains and marks to the advisor. Eventually, I got a refund but the whole experience was acrimonious to say the least. No apology was given and the advisor was incredibly annoyed that I insisted on a refund and wouldn’t accept a credit note. I found my first and only shopping experience at the boutique to be incredibly upsetting and won’t be buying anything from them in the future.
