I bought a few dresses just before the Jubilee weekend and to my surprise they were delivered very fast and of course the dresses were fabulous. Unfortunately I had to return 1, stupid of me I did not follow the return instructions (they are clear on the website). However after an email they guided me and the process was very smooth. It did take well over a week to get my refund but I cannot complain when I compare the quality and the standards they follow. I will be returning soon and helping your environmental efforts :)

I first discovered ADKN when I came across their masks in a publication and knew I had to try them for myself. The quality is so amazing that I haven't felt the need to buy new ones, but I still return every now and then and grab a couple of new ones to support such an amazing young company!

In my latest order I decided to give the bamboo pyjamas a try as well and snatched a couple for myself and my husband and we're both obsessed with the quality and comfort. Thanks ADKN, absolutely amazing service!

Been trying to get a refund for 39 days now. They acknowledge receipt of items on 31/05. Contacted several times since with no reply. Not a trustworthy company despite all their ethical promises. Feel they’re just trying to hold onto my money and hope I forget.

I ordered a dress from this store to my home in Scotland for my graduation. I received the dress, which was beautifully packaged and nice quality, but it didn’t fit me right so I sent it back. It took over 2 months for me to receive any kind of confirmation that the dress had been received in the London store (which would take a maximum of 5-7 days to get there) and in this long interim I had emailed twice to ask about my refund and received no reply. When I eventually got a reply, the email contained videos and pictures of the dress saying it had been damaged and I was not receiving a refund. I wore the dress for a maximum of 10 minutes before I decided to return it to its box and post it back so there is no possible way I damaged it. I explained this to the company and they refused me a refund, offering store credit to the value of half of what I paid (which was of no interest to me after this experience) or for them to send the dress back to me. I asked them to send it back and it is in fine condition - nothing wrong with it apart from the box being damaged but that could have happened while it was sitting in their warehouse for 2 months after I returned it!! Seems like a scam to get peoples money and they reply ridiculously slow when there’s an issue. Do not purchase from this company!

Good luck ever trying to get a refund from them for returns, let alone even a response from their office. They claim they are small and all orders give them a happy dance but I'm certainly not doing any happy dances as a customer!
Credit card dispute is in and trading standards have been contacted. I didn't want to do that as actually what they stand for is wonderful but seemingly they are unable to press the refund button even when you order several sizes to try on as options.
I will never go anywhere near them again

An update to their response below... they eventually came back to me, funny enough with the same unpacking video that others have recieved. They inspect their clothing in the most detail it's unbelievable. They pick mini threads apart, show a crease and pointed out a tiny pen mark (which would have been from their doing, why would I have a pen anywhere near a dress??). All 5 items had a flaw... pretty unusual?
They send the items out like these, then use it as an excuse to keep your money! I never get did get a reply to my email saying this was completely untrue, given that I didn't even try 2 of the dresses on! Absolute scam!

As many reviews below state - their customer service regarding refunds and returns has been horrible. No acknowledgement of my emails, no confirmation of receipt. I’ve emailed several times asking for some information regarding my order and have yet to hear back. I have been patient, but this is now a concern. Please can you rectify this issue immediately.

I wish I had read the reviews about their poor ability to process refunds. I bought 2 dresses, tried them on, and returned them because they were simply not up to par, putting them swiftly back in the box and not leaving them out. I requested to return them, had to chase to actually get the return label, and then sent them back. Waiting over 2 months for some news, they've ended up saying I can't get a refund because there were some cat hair on the dresses. I'm sorry, but seriously? I could have easily gone into the shop and left cat hair on their clothes, and they would no longer be hypoallergenic; or even the clothes coming into contact with me will no longer be hypoallergenic due to me being a pet owner, so the rationale is really an excuse at best, a new company trying to make ends meet.
Also, to anyone who has not read their T&C's and is considering shopping here, leaving "particles" on clothing is considered to be a reason to not give refunds, which is reason enough to avoid them. Online shoppers have equal rights to in store shoppers? No way.

I've contacted citizen advice who don't agree with ADKN's reasoning, and have reported them to Trading Standards as well (similar to someone else in reviews). Unfortunately though, ADKN does not work with an Online Dispute Resolution, so shoppers are out of luck if they don't agree with this brand's decisions. The best anyone else can do who's in a similar situation, report them to Trading Standards, and hope we can get them to shut down.

Edit for anyone in doubt after reading ADKN's response – one of the dresses has 1 hair, they did not find any other issues with it, did not document anything else being wrong with it. That hair could have easily been removed within 10 seconds, but instead they would prefer to keep the money and recycle the dress. Talk about greenwashing! Sustainable brand would know that extending the lifecycle of a product as much as they can is better for the environment.
