Matalan

This is an outlet store so it good for trying to pick up a good bargain. If you are fashion conscience/on the ball with fashion then maybe it is not the best place to visit in the sense that it is filled with previous trends. Also it smells a bit dusty in here and so do the items so remember to give them a good wash when you bring them home.

On the outside the store looks very run down and is situated in a dingy street off of the main road. First glances at the store can also be misleading as much of the place is very messy and unkept.

However, this is made up for by the price of the clothing. They can be extremely low priced, particularly during sales. Quality is very decent, especially considering the price.

Unfortunately it can be hard to find correct sizes as there is not too much organisation. You can't find much staff help either as there doesn't tend to be any around.

A place that you need patience and time to find great value at ridiculous prices. The clothing and home goods are great quality. I got lots of lovely items for Christmas gifts. Can't wait to go back shopping.

You can find cheap clothes in this place but everything is mixed up and customer services very slow and they don't help you at all as you can see in the picture there's a no worker at all hehe.

Staff are rude and you don't feel welcomed in this store. COVID measures are non existent in. In normal Matalan store prices on sale are cheaper. Don't think that I will ever come back. No fitting rooms and no refund policy. You can't try the clothes and can't return them for refund, exchange within 14 days only. Checkout staff are extremely rude.

It is a good huge shop with everything in one place. But, Generally outlet means we expect lower prices, but this does not have any extraordinary deals. Even if you find a deAl, there are no trial rooms and they do not offer refund but only credit note or exchange. You don’t get good and fresh vibes, its very damp and old place. Home section is all messed up and rarely has any decent stuff.

Would definitely suggest going to other shops which might suprisingly have better deals.

Great stuff for kids and some for men and women also. But prefer the kids stuff here as its much more of things you need. Also prices can be cheaper as its an outlet. Some stuff are good amd priced well but most stuff still seem very expensive 😅

Good shop now everything is on one floor. Great bargains to be bought at the right time. But recently clothings been the same for few months nothing much new a bit boring unlike it once was. But can't complain as it's a outlet store. Quality lasts a bit with Matalan clothing. More women than men's clothing to choose from but still reasonable selection of men's. Children clothing can be bought babies - teenage, good deals on kids footwear Inc slippers £3 & upwards, homeware. Good prices on men's & women shoes/boots. From £4 & upwards
Some items still a bit pricey such as certain women dressess& jackets. Large selection of Men's blazer jacket £10, waistcoat £6.
As it's within easy reach for me it's fine. But if your coming from far your taking a chance visiting as you may not find anything you like or within your budget. But it's somewhere you'd have to go for yourself to see to decide.
But if you see an item and think it's a bit pricey, if you can always carry it to the tills as it may of gone down in price.
There are other plenty well known shops& a very large Primark close by inside the shopping centre.
