Jedburgh Woollen Mill

One of those outlets which has everything. Clothes, gifts and usual tourist ornaments. Food, drink and confections. Lovely café for cake & coffee. Didn't have time to sample a cooked meal.

sometimes when on holiday you need to find an expansive souvenir shop full of Americans! lunch was yummy and reasonably priced, and we enjoyed looking around the shop. very friendly staff, we couldn’t resist buying some shortbread to take home with us!

First time here, was waiting for recovery, So decided to have breakfast, Good size breakfast & Drink for £7. Staff were friendly and polite and helpful, But as always there are some issues, mine were lack of choice for breakfast and considering it was the start of service it wasn't very warm, considering it was the start of service you would at least expect it to be warmer if not hot, but sadly not, But even with them 2 gripes, the food was very nice.

That's a good little business earner there if thier was more choice and food was hotter, You'd have a lot more hgv drivers in also. I'd probably also extend the times also, by opening the restaurant a few hours earlier.

Shop was well stocked with stuff, jewel in the crown was the Afternoon Tea served in the cafe. Wonderful sandwiches, huge scones with loads of jam and cream plus big butterfly cakes with tea ir coffee. All for £15 per couple.

It is so easy to park here. Always have something to eat as there are plenty of tables. Toilet facilities available and great shopping. Friendly helpful staff.

Sadly we arrived here as they were about to close but the staff were very attentive and helpful. We left with 2 hot chocolates to warm us on our way.

Visit this store ritually whenever in Galashiels. This year it was a disappointment . The boxing day sales 2022 were not as good as previous years. Variety in sizes of products were again not as good as previous years. Both Jedburgh and Edinburgh wool mill just didn't have the same atmosphere anymore. The cafes were crowded so the food must be valued by the public but the shops were certainly not what they once were.

Needed some whisky as gifts. None on sale as bar codes weren't working..tea in cafe was like water. Bought some shortbread to discover its out of date. ..even our coach driver said that's the last time he will ever go there
