Needs modernization, staff friendly and welcoming unfortunately not all members are, we were "welcomed" by a verbally abusive elderly member who nearly had a Coronary because we sat next to the bingo table. A private birthday party had non party guests in it so kind of spoiled the atmosphere. The club itself offers various things going on all thru the week, bingo, turns and Sunday lunches.

Not as good as it could be, the covid hasn't helped and the lack of support from the members and the fact it is going to be flattened to make way for the "rejuvenation " of the station and park which is a waste of money and is up there with the large "plantpot" idea, but hey it is what it is.

Just seen DJ DIVA tonight 21st August.. brilliant night..Shame this club is going to be knocked down...every Town & City should have & keep a Sports & Social club...😟

Every time i have been there, they have been 100% authentic, very homely and not to mention, affordable! Keep them carlings coming baby! 5 stars everytime!
