Slug & Lettuce - Lincoln

Lovely staff you were made to feel very welcome. The cocktails were extremely nice and the food was delicious. Would definitely visit again when in Lincoln.

We tried this branch when we moved to Lincoln last December. Service was very great. The staff are friendly. We ordered S&L sharer for 15.99 £. We enjoyed the meal.

This was a chicken platter for two very enjoyable even though we had to leave some because there was too much for us

Lovely decor, attentive staff. Unfortunately the establishment does not set the same standards for crockery/cutlery. The milk jug had more dried on stains of coffee than the used cups and the first set of cutlery, knife edge, was covered in massive greasy finger prints. The 2nd didn't look much cleaner on the handles. These were changed on request, but the point is, it should not have had to.
I believe our waiter was Harry, very pleasant and professional.
I have eaten in other slug and lettuce establishments, I wasn't eating today, but my partner did.
Given the choice of other venues available I don't think I would visit again.

Called in for lunch today after visiting the Christmas market. The beers and prosecco we ordered were fine. For food we ordered the festive sharer. Really disappointing. Most of the chicken was overcooked. The chips were undercooked and the dumpling and pigs in blanket were cold. Very disappointing, had high hopes having chosen the Slug and Lettuce over other neighbouring bars. A couple on the table at the side of us ordered the same and echoed out thoughts.

Just want to say we had an absolutely amazing time yesterday for bottomless brunch! Staff were absolute brilliant from the minute we walked in, we're not left with a delay to top us up unlike many other places we really did get the bottomless experience! Our server was Bradley, and he Was a gem, really really made our day, as a service industry worker myself he went above and beyond and I can see him working far up the ladder with his career! He definitely deserves some major kudos!!! Will definitely be back!

We went in a Friday and Saturday night. We really utilised the 2 for 1 on cocktails offer, and everyone of them was great. Good atmosphere, others seems like they was enjoying themselves too.

Really it's 4.5. I will be honest, I went here before refurb a few times and wasn't impressed, but when I was invited recently for a meal I wasn't convinced I would enjoy it. But food, better choices and tasty and promptly served to table. Drinks good value and variety and flavour, price not bad either. Good service from bar and wait staff. In fact I'm going again next week! Would have been 5 stars (and this is not a local thing it's the chain) , but would like the cocktails to be mix and match rather than same 2, my friends and family would order more if we could share the rounds because if you have 2 drinks sitting there in front of you, it kind of makes you think you have had enough. When I've been to places I can mix and match, Ive stayed longer (and ordered more). Other than that well worth a trip
