John Bob is an asset to have around. Did an amazing job at recommending drinks and went the extra mile by giving me an extra foam banana because I said how much I love them. Made the experience better, my mum approves greatly

Slug and Lettuce Fareham Portsmouth: All dressed up and everywhere to go was the theme of this outlet. The bar was fitted out for Halloween if you like that sort of commercialism. The atmosphere was lively and well frequented with customers. Very upmarket furnishings. Well staffed in and friendly. Open late at weekends when the place
is heaving. Obviously the place to be seen at. Food reasonably priced and adequate. A place l would recommend and visit again

Kristie @ Fareham slug & lettuce was the most attentive person. We could not have asked for a better service from her. The food and drinks were great and such good value for money. Great afternoon shared with amazing friends. Would definitely recommend the bottomless brunch @ slug & lettuce xx

Wonderful food, amazing staff, brilliant experience! I want to personally thank Jack the chef for the amazing food. Kristie for her incredible customer service, lovely conversation, and great cocktails. Dylan for his lighthearted nature after I broke a glass, his great customer service and delicious cocktails. And John for his pleasant customer service. Everyone really made our anniversary dinner one to remember, even after alllllll the drinks.

Pretty good selection of beers, a wide range of shorts and very quick service. Tables were kept clean and plenty of space between tables in the converted hall. Can get noisy as the decor bounces the sound around but generally pretty good for a town centre pub. Not a traditional English pub though if you are looking for that.

Three of us enjoyed a lovely lunch here on Tuesday. We all ordered scampi and chips which came quickly, was piping hot, chunky chips were especially delicious. Staff were very attentive.
Ladies toilets upstairs were beautiful … so much so I took a photo!! Very clean and well stocked with soap etc.
One of us needed to use the disabled toilet which was needing more soap but the staff saw to that immediately.
Excellent value for our meal from the £7 lunch menu.
Thank you Jay Caitlin and Jack

My wife and I had breakfast in the Slug and Lettuce today 14/8/21. It was the worst experience we have ever had. The coffee cup had lipstick around it. The scrambled eggs were over cooked, not seasoned and swimming in water. My sausages were burnt and the avocado on toast turned out to be thrown on to a piece of baguette that was not toasted and was given to me soggy. The accompanying toast was so anemic looking we thought it was just plain bread. Now there works a chef that either doesn't care or doesn't know how to cook. A refund was offered but refused by us on the grounds that we only complained so that the Manager was aware that sub standard food was being sold to their customers and hopefully improvements could be made.

Cold inside at lunchtime and in the evening. Nice staff food lovely too, Don't GET CAUGHT OUT with 2 cocktail for 1. If when paying you order two cocktails and do not find right link for the 2 for 1 your be charged for two and nothing you can do about it. I think buying your own drinks is better then the cocktails, they are not as nice as they look and all ice.
