Great night .. All staff on point. Nothing can be too much .. The cocktails speak for themselves ..( awesome ) .. not a place to go if u want a quiet time with the kids .. in the evening .. but a absolutely brilliant place for the adults to enjoy socialize and have a dance .. .. Will bring the family during the day to enjoy the burgers I saw coming out the kitchen .. VIP service provided by George

Very angry that this place has posters outside saying "all day menu" and "kitchen open" but actually can't serve food at 5pm because the kitchen is closed!
On top of that, the sassy bar staff said "welcome to independent land" - clearly judging myself and my family as being the kind of people who usually eat at fast food / chain restaurants.

Fabulous bar! Espacially George is the best bartender! If you are around Tunbridge Wells and want to have a good club experience it’s a must! 10/10

The only thing that let this place down was the beer selection. There were about 6 beers on tap, and they're all the usual suspects. Some of them good, some of them bad.

The spirits selection looked good, but I didn't try any.

The roof terrace had a fairly annoying amount of wasps on the day I was there, which made for a lot of flailing arms.

When it started to rain, there was plenty of indoor seating for everyone which was great.

Sadly no real ale. In Tunbridge Wells that's quite surprising as it's full of bars and pubs that specialise in ale and there were 20 in our group that were keen to hit the Harvey's on a rare night out. The young barmaid wasn't sure what ale was. Hopefully just a temporary blip as it's a nice pub.

Me and my husband held our wedding after party in the function room at Grub & Liquor on Saturday. In terms of weddings we had a pretty low budget so when searching for a venue we were looking for somewhere reasonably priced that would feed us, serve cocktails, have space for dancing and a DJ and allow us to decorate and fill the place with colour. We did all of these things and more in the function room at Grub & Liquor and we couldn’t be more grateful to the manager Kayleigh and her team. Kayleigh was so accommodating from the start and on the day when we had to leave the ceremony venue early she rushed in to work (having already been there for hours and popping home for a tea) to make sure the space was ready for us and to open bottles of bubbly. Liam was awesome behind the bar, the waitresses were lovely and the chef managed to feed 60 of us.

Our guests had a great time, particularly my 5 year old nephew who took a shine to Kayleigh and led her onto the dance floor. A brilliant place to party for all ages! Thank you so much.

What a fab venue, lovely staff, great roof terrace. My only downside is plastic glasses, however it may be for licencing terms . Well done Team Tyber you smashed it 😊😊😊

Thank you to Sarah and the team for hosting our Christmas Party this year amongst what is a very difficult time. I have not visited Grub and Liquor before, what a gem of a pub. The venue was kitted out with covid measures and areas were not over crowded at even thought the venue was busy.
The service, staff and food were absolutely amazing, outstanding value for money and we most definitely will be back. The attention to detail really made our evening one to remember. Thank you for the great memories 10/10
