Under 500kcal healthy tasty lunch

After a meeting, I had a lunch with my colleague @sluglettuce in Romford. Recently, I gained so much weight after several trips in Europe. It’s time for me to loss some weight😅 @sluglettuce indicates calories in each dish and I can choose my lunch under 500kcal 🤩

WHAT WE GOT
🥙Halloumi and Avo wrap (1122kcal)
🥦Veg Thai Curry with Cauliflower rice (286kcal)
🥟Chicken Gyoza (223kcal)
🥟Veg Gyoza (169kcal)

My colleague chose Halloumi and Avo wrap and I went for Thai curry. The wrap was loaded with tomato, lettuce and avocado. Looks healthy and tasty. I chose cauliflower rice for the curry. The curry was sweet and aromatic. The key was it’s just 286kcal🤩🤩🤩 We also ordered chicken & vegetable gyozas to share. Ended up my lunch was less then 500kcal🎉🎉🎉

@sluglettuce served steamed chicken and vegetable gyozas. Both of them were served with sweet and chilli sauce and topped with spring onion & chilli. The gyoza wrapper was firm, soft and smooth. The vegetable with green pastry and so it can be easily distinguished from white pastry chicken gyoza. Both of them were flavourful and healthy . Love it😍😍😍

Favourite place in Romford for a drink. Thanks Simon C (if I remember well) for making me some good cocktails.
Better than the other cheap pubs on the same street. Love the music and the place is quite tidy on Fridays and Saturdays. Also love the lights which give the pub a club note.

Came to slug and lettuce after having a bad experience at a different venue and the staff member Simon C served me with a smile. He made the drinks perfectly and recommended great food items. I couldn't expect anything more. A great staff member to have

Great service from Simon. very efficient. booked a table and he saved us a booth. Food was great

2 for 1 on cocktails, can’t go wrong, very nice cocktails too. However, the security here have a bit of a power trip, especially the red haired lady, quite rude, very unprofessional and unpleasant

Very disappointed. First we booked one of the birdcage, but on the evening they couldn’t offer it to us as it was already booked by someone else, even if we were at the place few days before and the manager assured that we will have it. Second thing, the staff was laughing at us which is not professional at all.
No complaints for the DJ, the music made our evening!

Had a fantastic Christmas 3 course meal tonight with friends. Stacey and Connor were very friendly and attentive, Connor especially with good banter. Great value for money. Will definitely be returning soon, thank you for a great evening.
