The Snug Bar Aylesbury

Snug as in cosy. Great little cocktail bar, with friendly staff. Started to get busy when shops closed. Happy hour, 2 for 1 cocktails until 7. Recommended.

Waited 40 minutes for service - only one bartender on. Told us to wait upstairs and he would be up in a couple of minutes, but never came up and served later walk-ins without coming up. Very pricy, but had a two for one offer from 5pm until 7pm which made the price bearable. Unusual decor and an odd layout give this place some character if you can bare the dire service

This is a lovely niche cocktail bar. The decor is brilliant and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Its slightly on the pricey side but the drinks tastes premium. The only thing I would have liked to have seen was multibuy offers or something of the sort. That's my only criticism. The snug is a definite must to visit.

Is a nice place to stop for a cocktail or a beer. Nice decor and live music on fridays with table service when its not busy. But, cocktails are VERY pricey for what they are. Worth it at happy hour or when they have offers, but otherwise a bit overpriced considering the other places that have opened recently (miya, craftyard).

Update, its ok. Nice decor but service has really gone down hill. Last time I was here (Saturday) it really wasn't busy but waited almost 40 mins for a drink. Cocktails are really weak as well considering the cost. It's somewhere to go, if you have the time, before you go somewhere else, not a destination in it's own right. Are far better places.

This is a really nice bar. The strawberry woo woo and the raspberry colada were particularly delicious. The bar feels chilled out and relaxed. I’d recommend it.

I always like it here, but the cocktails are pricey. Especially since they have removed happy hour from the offer, so you can get random (not all of them) cocktails for £12 for 2. Good service and the cocktails taste good.

Used to be one of my absolute favourite places to come. The staff used to be fun, friendly and want to make your visit special. I was very unimpressed with the service this time, bar was crammed with dirty glasses, just not what it used to be at all. Staff made me wanting to use a voucher really awkward, wouldn't bring my drink to the table because they were "too busy" because they already had a backlog of table service, didn't know the correct ingredients for drinks and served me what seemed to be a very mean sized drink. I've spent many birthdays in the snug but they ruined this one.

Great atmosphere along with great cocktails and friendly staff. Have evjoyed every visit. The staff are knowledge and able to make recommendations from the good cocktail selection.
